What type of photos do I need to take?
What if I'm not skilled at taking good photos?
To complete your colour analysis, we will need a great photo of your face. Please follow these instructions when taking your headshots and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions:
Close up, good natural even lighting – just face with some hair around but not on your face. You need to be able to distinguish your eye colour clearly.
Indoors ideally / In a bright room (never outdoors on a sunny day)
Please tie your hair back (if you have long hair)
You will want to get really close to the window and hold your camera at face height !
Ideally wear a white top so that colour isn’t being reflected onto your face.
Without makeup or Spray tan or glasses
If you are wearing a hijab or head scarf, please wear a white one.
Possibly a neutral background (for example a plain white wall)
Please also send a photo of a close up of your eyes so I can gauge their colour – the colour needs to be as accurate as possible!
We won’t start the analysis until we receive good photos with good light, so don’t worry if you’re not sure about your photo-taking skills.
If the photos you send don’t work, we will ask you to take other ones. Before taking your photos, please see the following images.
Do send pictures like this.
